Neuron Solutions is member of Techquartier in Frankfurt am Main, a platform connecting established companies with a dynamic startup scene. Our aim is to be an active member of this innovative organization by sharing our skills and experience in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence with them. In this manner, we participated in two events at the beginning of November.
The first was the latest Techquartier corporate partner day which was dedicated to applying AI in product development and innovation. Our co-founder Otto Werschitz focused his presentation on how Generative AI, more precisely Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT or Bard can support the product innovation process.
As Otto explained LLMs can be efficiently used in all phases of the innovation process from ideation through validation to scaling of the actually developed product. The way of making use of LLMs can range from the professional way of prompting, through building solutions that retrieve text-based information from various sources such as publicly available online documents or the enterprise internal knowledge base to building automated intelligent workflows. Examples of professional prompting for supporting of each innovation phase were also shown in the field of developing new banking products.
The participation in the H-ventures program was our second recent contribution. The aim of H-ventures is to give startuppers the knowledge and the connections to build a viable team and start data-driven businesses. The initiative is sponsored by the Hessen Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transportation and Housing and powered by Goethe University Frankfurt and TechQuartier where the incubation work actually takes place.
Naturally, our role in the program was related to AI knowledge sharing to the participating startups, which we achieved in co-operation with Fabian Müller, Chief Operating Officer of Statworx, a Frankfurt-based AI consultancy firm. Our co-founder Levente Szabados opened the session by explaining the significance and the characteristics of the “data driven economy” which put the use of AI into context. Then came Fabian with explaining the basics and “how-to-use” details of AI technologies in business. Finally, Levente also speak about the professional use of Generative AI and LLMs for startups. The session was concluded by an exciting open discussion and question answering between ourselves, i.e. the speakers and the startuppers.
Both the partner day and the H-ventures session were really exciting for us. By interacting with the audience we also got inspirations and useful ideas on how AI-based business solutions can and should be offered to our clients. We are glad to be part of the Techquartier community.
