Neuron Solutions participated in the Compass Tech Summit held on 5th and 6th of October, 2023. This event was organized by CraftHub and encompassed five different conferences, i.e. Stretch Engineering Leadership Conference, Reinforce AI Conference, Amuse UX/UI Conference, Crunch Data Conference and the Impact Product Management Conference.
As a professional partner, Neuron Solutions helped compose the programme of the Reinforce AI subconference and assisted the selection of performing participants for it. Besides this, two of our co founders, Levente Szabados and Gyula Kovács attended and talked at the Reinforce AI conference.
At first, Gyula Kovács talked about the need and complexities of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, which augments the performance of large language models. Gyula explored the various processes and pitfalls occurring during the implementation of such a system. Several pivotal aspects of these systems were discussed, including data availability, formatting, tokenization and embedding illustrating the fact that even if it feels like nothing could go wrong, everything might do just that.
After this, Levente Szabados talked with Dr George Tilesch about the so far westend-like nature of the development and monetization of artificial intelligence and the principles of Responsible AI. The main topics of the discussion were these: how to maximize the business results of AI developed in a responsible and accountable way, which are the core principles of Responsible AI, how emerging regulations of AI are affecting businesses, how can one create a business advantage and build customer trust out of conforming to the Responsible AI principles and what are the real world examples of this currently available.
Alongside companies like Ericsson, Continental and Bosch, the stand of Neuron Solutions could be visited as well. Here, besides receiving information and introduction, visitors could try out two demo applications. One of them was a video analytics application powered by AI, which would process the attention of customers in shops, providing statistics on products. The other demo was a chatbot application which, empowered by ChatGPT, uses a knowledgebase provided by the implementing company. These two distinct solutions was a good demonstration of the fact that we have capabilities of working on a number of fields of applied AI.
Both presentations held by Neuron Solutions’ co-founders and our stand were a great success amongst visitors and potential business partners.
All in all, Neuron Solutions had the fortune to attend a great and prestigious event made possible by the excellent work of CraftHub.
